I love Bunraku sooo much.I can tell you a lot about the
attraction of Bunraku.
My way of enjoying Bunraku is not actually only watching it
but, say, LISTENING it.
I use the phrase of "I listen to Bunraku" rather than
"I watch Bunraku" even if Bunraku is a kind of puppet play.
Huto-Zao Shamisen, a type of Japanese guiter, is used for Bunraku.
It is good for big halls rather than small Japanese entertaiment rooms called Ozashiki.
It's because Huto-Zao Shamisen is biggest and has thickest strings, which can make some
big tones compared to the other two Shamisen.
