-研究は汗と不満と甘い夢-
Nobel goes to four Japanese scientists so far this year.
All of them used to be associate with a Univ. in which
I used to be. And two of them used to work right here
in Princeton.
We should be proud of them.
However, watching they are interviewed in TV programme,
I just feel weird that there are something different feelings going
on between the scientists and the interviewers.
I think that's because the interviewees' sense of value are more focused on
whether what they have been doing is simply right or not rather than
they have been trying to be awarded the prize.
What Dr Nanbu is saying about researching which I wrote above
is really describing it.
Anyway, it's interesting that Dr Shimomura won the prize
for his discovery of green fluorescent protein (GFP)
in the jellyfish.
